Small Business Symposium
The Department of Administrative Services (DOAS), State Purchasing Division (SPD), in collaboration with Governor Brian P. Kemp’s Georgians First Commission, will host a Small Business Symposium in Dublin, Georgia, connecting Middle and South Georgia area small businesses with State and local government officials for a full-day of learning and networking. The symposium date is February 12, 2020; and registration is open December 16, 2019 – January 30, 2020.
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
With the theme, Growing Small Business in Georgia, the event offers a unique opportunity for small businesses, providing direct access to State and local officials, small business development partners and potential contracting partners. The symposium also will offer workshops, resources and programs designed specifically to help small businesses thrive in Georgia! A major goal of the symposium is to encourage relationship-building that leads to small businesses competing for and doing business with the State of Georgia.
Registration for this inaugural event is accessible on the DOAS website at http://doas.ga.gov/state-purchasing/small-business-symposium. Here, you will find detailed information about the symposium agenda and so much more.
If you have any questions about the event or receive inquiries from small businesses, please feel free to contact Josh Borden, SPD Operations Manager at [email protected] or 404-656-5340.
Thank you, and we look forward to you joining us and sharing information with small businesses.
